First, explore the five boroughs: Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn and The Bronx. Do you want to travel around the world in 5 boroughs? Learn about the specific neighborhoods in all boroughs that makes the great City of New York so unique: the arts, dining, the parks, shopping, chatting with the locals and learning public transportation!

Then, travel with us beyond. Start with Long Island: the museums of Nassau County, the farms and wineries of Suffolk County and the mansions and beaches of the whole island. Jones Beach is consistently listed on lists as one of the best family beaches in America but there are plenty of others on both shores, north and south.  And since there's nothing like a New York diner, you'll find plenty on Long Island to experience. Think good pizza is only in the city? Nope! You'll find that on Long Island, too. Don't worry about driving if you're staying in the city: be a real Long Islander and take the Long Island Rail Road. They have trips all mapped out.

Then, head across one of the bridges and explore New York State:  mountains, lakes, wine trails, waterfalls, local sports, history & more are waiting for you. Travel The New York State Thruway (I-87 and I-90) and stop at one of the many redesigned travel rest areas that are attractions in themselves. Fun fact: feel free to explore our neighboring states New Jersey and Pennsylvania as you travel I-80 west to go to upstate New York! Yes, you can see western New York State by going through those two states. Pick up brochures and pamphlets and plan your adventure across the home state of The NYC Traveler.

Get to know the USA: drive, fly or even hike or cycle to your favorite destination. To see the USA is to see the world. Every culture is represented here as well as the unique American cultures throughout the 50 states. From colonial times to the present, museums, gardens, mansions, natural wonders, great food, hot music and every beverage you can imagine is waiting for you to explore. Your own virtual meeting will help you to discover what awaits.

Want to see the world?

Let us plan your itinerary: from the traditional sights to the hidden gems. Travel all over the world, including by airplane, train travel or cruising.

With many mobile phone plans including international data and more countries with car services, traveling to and through Europe is easier than ever. Planning your own itineraries, using local resources will help you to explore and even using translation apps helps you to have more enjoyable and enriching experiences than ever before.

If Europe is your goal, follow our blogs and set up a virtual meeting to explore different ways to get to your desired city in your dream country from the USA. Once you are there and we have shown you options with hotels and lodging, it's time to plan your European itinerary. See the most famous and popular sites, but don't forget to explore the local areas too: cute boutiques, small cafes, shopping alleys, and local entertainment. Don't just stay in one country. The beauty of smaller countries is that you can hop from one to another by local flights or train. Don't worry: in your virtual meeting, you'll get packing tips so that you can see at least 3 countries with just a carryon and a checked bag.

If travel by water is your option, follow our blog series about cruising. There's more to cruising than buffets and dance lines. See 6-7 countries in one trip, explore caves, mountains and beaches as well as historical monuments and film and TV locales. Do you want a more intimate experience? Then European river cruising is for you: smaller vessels, fine dining, luxurious accommodations will give you that and more.

Do you like guided tours? We can help you with that, too.

Travel with The NYC Traveler as we travel the world.

Theme parks for adults? Absolutely! Play in a whole new way! Disney, Universal, Six Flags, Busch Gardens, Hershey and other theme parks want grown folks to have fun in a whole new way.

Attractions and rides go from mild and family friendly to extreme for thrill seekers. Theme parks are now resorts with full experiences: golf, fine dining, shopping, entertainment and shows.

Theme parks are located in great cities and states. Traveling to a theme park means exploring the area. Don't just stay in the park: get to know the surrounding area and nearby cities.
